The China-based Realcan Pharmaceutical Group is a giant in the highly regulated medical services arena, providing drugs and medical instruments through more than 130 subsidiaries. It purchases goods from over 12,000 domestic and foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers and delivers them across its network of 31 provinces and cities across China. Innovative technology is key to ensuring its medicines are transported safely, in the correct conditions.
To meet the needs of its ever-expanding business, Realcan was looking to improve its transportation process. It partnered with Westernacher Consulting and implemented SAP Extended Warehouse Management and SAP Transportation Management. With the digital transformation of its transportation system complete, Realcan can be sure of the safe delivery of every order.
